Gainbridge® Expands Impact with Grants for Girls and Women in Sports and Education in Partnership with Parity and Women’s Sports Foundation®

For the second consecutive year, Gainbridge®, a Group 1001 company, is joining forces with Parity, the premier platform for professional women athlete partnerships, and the Women’s Sports Foundation® (WSF) for a grant program that supports girls and women through sports and education.

As part of the Gainbridge® Assists Powered by Parity, $222,000 will be awarded to organizations and athletes nationwide. A minimum of $5,000 will be awarded to each selected organization, with one standout recipient receiving a $50,000 grant, a nod to tennis legend Billie Jean King, who launched WSF 51 years ago with a $5,000 check and a bold vision for change.

Gainbridge® Assists Powered by Parity, formerly Parity Week, is tied to the company’s mission to transform communities through sports and education. In 2024, Gainbridge®, Parity, and WSF distributed $172,000 to 22 organizations, reaching more than 5,000 girls and women.

Gainbridge® commits more than 40% of its sponsorship dollars to women's sports – far exceeding the national average. Gainbridge® is the title sponsor of two major women’s sporting events, the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge and The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. The company’s elite roster of women ambassador athletes includes WNBA star Caitlin Clark, tennis icon Billie Jean King, two-time Olympic gold medalist and World Cup Champion Briana Scurry, and 72-time LPGA Tour winner Annika Sörenstam. Recently, Gainbridge® and the United Soccer League announced the Gainbridge Super League, a Division One professional women’s soccer league.

“Gainbridge® Assists is an opportunity to celebrate girls and women in sports and education, and give back on a grassroots level,” said Mike Nichols, Group 1001’s Chief of Sponsorship Strategy and Activation. “By partnering with Parity and the Women’s Sports Foundation®, we’re empowering the next generation of girls and women to pursue their athletic dreams and educational goals.”

“This collaboration is rooted in our shared belief that equity begins with access,” said Leela Srinivasan, CEO of Parity. “At Parity, we’re proud to help drive meaningful investment into organizations that are breaking down barriers and building a stronger future for women and girls in sports and education. These grants don’t just provide resources—they create ripple effects that last for generations.”
